Still Married But Husband Moved To Another Country, What to Do?

My husband and I had been married for 8 years or so when he left to live with a woman in England, whom he had met on the internet and apparently had been having a long term affair. The entire time we were married he hardly worked, was essentially an atheist and had somewhat of a drug problem. The problem is, he has left and it's been 2 years. In the interim I had a baby by someone else and I think we need to be divororced. Right before he left we took out a large home equity loan on a house that was left to me, he signed a 30 year with me, so I don't want to divorce without him having to pay. I don't know what my legal recourse is. He is now "engaged" and becoming Jewish. This woman's family have no clue that he is even married or the terrible things he's done.
