What are some cool ideas for a small (5-10) gallon tank for an office?

Im getting my dad a fishtank for christmas thats going to be 5-10 gallons for his office and he really like exotic and diffrent animals sooo any ideas for cool aquatic fish or crustaceans for that size that are interesting and cool in your opinion?
