What colors of tattoo show up on darker skin?

im thinking about getting another tattoo and i want more color in this one. i was thinking of a series of flowers like lotus, hibiscus you know pretty looking exotic flowers. but im like a medium toned African-American...does anybody know of any colors that will show up well on my complexion? i would post a pic but idk how to do it on yahoo answers...
