How can I train my dog to be good on the stage?
My dog is going to be playing "Bulls Eye" in our school production of Oliver! The musical. He's a very confident dog but I don't know how he'll cope with an audience. He basically walks around on a lead with Bill Sykes for most of his time on stage but the bit that could be a bit dodgy is he has to run across the stage without a lead. What would be the best way to train him to do this? We have 2 weeks until the production. For him running I'm basically gonna be stood at the other side of the stage and the dog will run over towards me, but he may get distracted by the audience? (The school stage is the floor and the seats are basically built up from the floor so everyone's looking down at the stage)
