I am leaving for around 3 weeks, will my parrot be okay without me for that long?

Ill be gone for 3 weeks and a have a severe macaw whom ive had for half a year. He loves me a lot and only gets along with me. Ill be leaving him with my family but im afraid he will hate or forget me when i get back. He tries to bite anyone else that isnt me. Im worried that since he likes me so much that he might not do so well. Will he get over it?
