Is it ridiculous to put a new motor in a 1995 VOLVO 960 W/185K miles ?

yah I love my SLAB but it needs some work.. I also need to know where I should take it? I live in college station TX and austin TX so if u got any ideas of who does work in that area. Also.,,,,Who could.. if anybody could "PIMP" my ride. Inside and out like custom fabrication stuff! thanks.
