Why is in the world do people think that Naruto and Bleack are the "greatest animes of all time"?

I don't understand either as i think they're overrated. I watched Naruto a long time ago and it started getting boring at the chuunin exam. And yes, i watched the japanese not the eng dub. The naruto manga is not bad however. But while people are obsessing over naruto because of its mainstream popularity, theyre missing out on some other underrated series. I agree only with a few on your list like Death note and kenshin but you're missing other greats such as hunterxhunter, GTO, gundam seed, juuni kokki, trigun, hajime no ippo, and etc.
